A scrap business has operated on the site for many years. The environmental authority set detailed requirements for a fairly large investigation of contamination in soil and groundwater. We sampled 20 points, taking 40 soil samples and 10 groundwater samples for analysis of metals, petroleum hydrocarbons and PAH. Copper, lead, zinc and petroleum hydrocarbons were detected.
