An old industrial area is being converted into offices in the existing premises and new housing. We investigated the ground at 30 points, including soil gas, to clarify the risks from contamination beneath the buildings that are to be kept. In the buildings we carried out material surveys and air sampling to establish whether there are any risks to people using the premises.
